  2. Hey Jay!!
I hope you’re feeling better!! If there’s anything you ever need, I’m always around. The same goes for your family, of course. And if you’re ever craving grilled cheese, I can just hijack the truck and bring it your way!

You’re in my thoughts always, and if anyone can beat this, it’s you. So hurry up and get better, so Lindsey and I can make fun of those gun shows you watch!

Jay, I’m a friend of your mom’s, Marie. I grew up with her and remember the day you were born. I live in California. I’ve been cancer-free for 6 years from stage 4. They have come so far in medicine and research. I am a big believer in the power of prayer and you and your loved ones are in my prayers. Stay strong, take care of yourself and let people help you. You’re Donna’s son…. You’re a Survivor!

    Love you,
    Marie

  11. Jay, You continue to impress and inspire me with the way you have dealt with this. From your thumbs up on the way to surgery to your inspiring recovery post surgery, we continue to be impressed with your character and strength. Your strong spirit and the strength you have shown in dealing with this without even knowing it was in your system while you were tenting and motoring on through your life show us how you will continue to work to Zap the Pheo! God bless you as you work to wipe out the remaining nodes. You are ours and Kate’s hero! Keep fighting the good fight. Love you, Mr. & Mrs. A.

  12. Jay, It was great to have you down at the gated community for the Thanksgiving weekend, and be able to share in all the fun with the gang. I know Donna was excited.

  16. Hi James…You don’t know me but I had the pleasure of meeting your mom and her friend this evening. We have a lot in common and the love of our children being the most important. She shared with me the difficulty you are going through and as a mom of children the same age, I felt compelled to write and wish the best of success with your recovery. I would like to donate to your fund. Best wishes to you!

  18. Jimi,

It’s been awhile since I’ve seen you and the D-Boyz, but my wife and I are definitely keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. We know you’ll beat this in due time. I’ll never forget the night some drunk kid was pointing a gun at us from a car in front of Common Ground…and we didn’t know if it was real or fake…but you still walked up to him, grabbed his arm, and smashed what turned out to be a cheap toy gun! Toughness clearly isn’t an issue for you. Keep fighting!
